On Saturday, May 17, former Los Altos High School standout Giselle Mejia’s current collegiate team the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos won 7-5 against the San Diego State Aztecs in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Easton Stadium at 9:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs in the tournament.

The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 4:35 p.m. at Easton Stadium.
