U.S. Representative Linda Sánchez, who serves California’s 38th district, addressed a range of issues in recent posts on her official social media account, including international antisemitic violence, the legacy of filmmaker Rob Reiner, and health care legislation before Congress.
On December 15, 2025, Sánchez posted about an attack targeting the Jewish community in Australia during Hanukkah. She wrote: “As Hanukkah continues tonight, we hold in our hearts the families of the victims and all those impacted by the horrific antisemitic terror attack against the Jewish community in Australia.”
Later that day, she commented on a statement made by the president regarding Rob Reiner. In her post dated December 15, 2025, Sánchez stated: “For the president to post this shows a profound lack of humanity and compassion. Rob Reiner was a great man whose work meant something to millions of people. My heart goes out to everyone who mourns him and his wife Michele.”
On December 17, 2025, Sánchez highlighted congressional efforts related to health care policy. She posted: “218 signatures. The majority of the House wants to stop Americans’ health care premiums from skyrocketing. @SpeakerJohnson needs to stop stalling and allow us to vote on a clean 3-year extension of the ACA premium tax credits now.”
Linda Sánchez has represented California’s 38th district since replacing Steve Horn in 2003. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier, Sánchez holds degrees from both UC Berkeley (BA) and UCLA (JD).
