Rep. Linda Sánchez, who represents California’s 38th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed issues ranging from workers’ rights to state sovereignty and government transparency in a series of posts on social media.
On September 1, Sánchez marked Labor Day by acknowledging the contributions of American workers. In her post, she stated, “Labor Day honors every worker who keeps our communities running. As workers’ rights continue to be tested, we must remember those who came before us. Today is a tribute to their dignity, resilience, and the ongoing fight for fairness.”
The following day, Sánchez commented on a court decision involving former President Donald Trump and the use of the National Guard in California. On September 2, she wrote: “Today’s ruling is a win for democracy and our Constitution.
Trump cannot illegally misuse the National Guard to target California.
We will never back down from defending our state.”
On September 3, Sánchez referenced efforts for increased transparency regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s files. She posted: “I’ve signed. The American people deserve answers. Time to let the Epstein files see the light.”
Sánchez has served in Congress since 2003 after succeeding Steve Horn as representative of California’s 38th district. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier at age 54, she holds degrees from both UC Berkeley (BA) and UCLA (JD).
