U.S. Representative Linda Sánchez, who serves California’s 38th district, recently commented on national politics and participated in local community events, according to a series of posts on her social media account.

The following day, December 9, Sánchez highlighted her involvement with local organizations and holiday celebrations. She wrote: “It was great to join @ymcawhittier in celebrating community and service at their annual Prayer Breakfast. Grateful for the chance to connect with neighbors and local leaders! https://t.co/IWik9jyCsi” Later that day she added: “This weekend was full of holiday cheer! Loved seeing everyone at the tree lightings in @CityofLaMirada, @LaHabraCA, and @CityofNorwalkCA, and at @CityofDowney’s Christmas Parade.
Nothing beats celebrating the season with our neighbors! https://t.co/RnQjHcyeTd”
