Born in Orange, California, in 1969, Sánchez holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and UCLA. She warned against cutting funding to the World Trade Organization, highlighting risks to U.S. global influence and trade stability. In her tweet, she stated, “Cutting funding to the WTO jeopardizes U.S. global leadership, undermines trade stability, and weakens efforts to resolve disputes diplomatically.”
On March 28, 2025, Sánchez addressed immigrant rights with a tweet in Spanish, urging individuals to understand their rights regardless of immigration status.
