U.S. Representative Linda Sánchez, who has represented California’s 38th district in Congress since 2003, recently addressed economic and retirement policy issues on her official Twitter account.
On December 3, 2025, Sánchez posted criticism of former President Donald Trump’s economic policies and their impact on American families. She wrote, “The same guy who ran on affordability now wants you to believe it’s all a Democratic scam? Families across the country know the truth. They’re feeling the pain of rising grocery prices and know Trump’s policies are making things worse every single day.”
Two days later, on December 5, Sánchez highlighted bipartisan cooperation on retirement legislation. She stated, “Proud to join @RepLaHood, @SenJohnBarrasso & @SenatorBennet on the Retirement Rollover Flexibility Act. Workers shouldn’t lose money to fees just for changing jobs. Our bill lets people easily roll over their Roth savings so their retirement keeps growing.” In a follow-up post on the same day, she provided access to the proposed bill: “Read our full bill here: https://t.co/0WxEkHfEhE”.
Sánchez is an experienced lawmaker who has served in Congress since replacing Steve Horn in 2003. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier, she holds degrees from both the University of California, Berkeley (BA) and UCLA (JD).
