Through this message, Sánchez reiterated her support for the transgender community, asserting her commitment to equality and visibility.
Later the same day, Sánchez tweeted in Spanish to honor César Chávez, proclaiming, “Honrando a César Chávez hoy, un verdadero campeón de la justicia y la perseverancia. Su compromiso inquebrantable con los derechos de los trabajadores nos recuerda que, aun en tiempos difíciles, nunca debemos renunciar el sueño de un futuro mejor.”
Sánchez followed up with another César Chávez tribute in English. The tweet, also dated March 31, 2025, read, “Honoring César Chávez today, a true champion of justice and perseverance.
