Rep. Linda Sánchez, who represents California’s 38th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on social media this week highlighting her recent legislative actions and community engagements.
On November 18, 2025, Sánchez announced her support for transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case, stating: “I voted for transparency and justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. The House finally passed it. Now the Senate must act.”
Later that day, she reflected on Veterans Day events in Southern California and introduced new legislation aimed at supporting veterans: “It was an honor to celebrate Veterans Day across Southern California last week.
Supporting our veterans goes beyond thank you — that’s why I introduced the Fair Housing Disability Act to protect their access to affordable housing.”
On November 19, Sánchez shared another message about honoring veterans in local communities: “It was a privilege to honor our veterans in @CityofDowney, @CityofSFS, and @LaHabraCA. Their service anchors our communities, and I’ll keep fighting to ensure they receive the support and dignity they’ve earned.”
Sánchez has represented California’s 38th District since 2003 after succeeding Steve Horn. She was born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently resides in Whittier. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley (1991) and a Juris Doctor from UCLA (1995).
