U.S. Representative Linda Sánchez, who has represented California’s 38th district since 2003, recently addressed her constituents on social media about upcoming changes to health care premiums and internship opportunities in her offices.
On November 17, 2025, Sánchez posted about the current open enrollment period for Covered California, highlighting potential increases in health care premiums for 2026. She wrote, “Open Enrollment for @CoveredCA is underway. Because Republicans refused to renew health care subsidies, many Californians will see premium increases in 2026. Review and update your coverage during Open Enrollment.”
The following day, November 18, she announced internship openings for the upcoming spring session: “We’re now accepting applications for Spring 2026 internships in both our Whittier and D.C. offices! Want to serve Southern California and gain hands-on experience? Apply now.”
Later that same day, Sánchez reiterated concerns over rising health care costs with another post: “Health care premiums are going to increase next year. That’s the hard reality of it. Remember that Republicans are the ones who fought for those increases.”
Linda Sánchez was born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently resides in Whittier. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 and a Juris Doctor from UCLA in 1995.
