On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Los Altos High School standout Giselle Mejia’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at NM State Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at Helen of Troy Softball Complex against UTEP Miners.
