Rep. Linda Sánchez, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 38th district since 2003, recently shared several statements on her social media accounts regarding technology access for Latino communities, health care priorities, and actions taken by former President Donald Trump.
On December 2, 2025, Sánchez wrote about participating in a summit organized by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), stating: “It was great to join @CHCI at their Tech Summit to discuss how we can close the digital gap and ensure Latino communities can fully participate and lead in the digital economy. Thank you for inviting me to speak and for bringing together so many advocates and community leaders.”
Later that day, she commented on perceived shortcomings in health care policy discussions with: “You heard it yourself, there is no plan. Your health care isn’t a priority for them.”
On December 3, 2025, Sánchez addressed the release of a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking following an action by Donald Trump: “Trump didn’t just pardon a Honduras’ ex-president, he released a man convicted of moving 400 tons of cocaine into our country. American families have buried loved ones because of his poison. Now because of Trump, he’s walking free.”
Linda Sánchez has represented California’s 38th District since replacing Steve Horn in Congress in 2003. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier, she earned her BA from UC Berkeley and her JD from UCLA.
