Rep. Linda Sánchez, U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 38th district since 2003, addressed economic and community issues in a series of posts on May 12, 2026.
In a post published at 13:56 UTC, Sánchez criticized former President Trump’s trade policies, stating: “Working families and small businesses paid the price for Trump’s illegal tariffs through higher costs and economic chaos. They deserve a refund – not large corporations.”
Later that day at 17:26 UTC, she acknowledged the work of the Children’s Foundation of Greater Los Angeles Center, writing: “Honored to celebrate 50 years of service with the @CFGCenter! For decades, they have provided critical mental health support to underserved children and families across Southeast Los Angeles County. Thank you for your incredible work and commitment to our community.”
At 21:23 UTC, Sánchez commented on public discourse regarding Americans’ financial well-being by posting: “Did you catch that ‘I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation’ But America first, right?”
