Rep. Linda Sánchez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 38th district since 2003, has expressed her views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier, Sánchez holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Sánchez criticized Elon Musk and others for their alleged plans to undermine key social welfare programs. She stated that “Elon Musk and his DOGE bros are plotting to gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to pay for more tax cuts for billionaires,” describing these actions as “downright cruel.”

Later that day, Sánchez commented on the economic policies under President Trump’s administration. She noted that “Even Republicans can’t keep up with President Trump’s tariff chaos,” indicating a disapproval of the ongoing trade strategies.

In another tweet posted on March 11, 2025, Rep. Sánchez announced her opposition to a continuing resolution (CR) funding bill. She explained her stance by stating “I just voted against the CR. It’s far from a clean funding bill,” expressing skepticism about Republican efforts to promote it.
