Rep. Linda Sánchez recently took to social media to engage her constituents and followers on multiple issues. Representing California’s 38th district since 2003, Sánchez is actively participating in gatherings and discussions on both cultural and political fronts.

On April 14, 2025, Linda Sánchez sought public involvement in the Congressional Art Competition by inviting individuals to pick a “fan favorite.” In her tweet, she wrote, “I need your help picking a ‘fan favorite’ for the Congressional Art Competition.” Instructions included liking or sharing photos of artworks, with likes equating to one vote and shares to five.

Addressing a critical issue on April 15, 2025, Sánchez criticized the use of private IRS data. In her tweet, she conveyed, “Private IRS data shouldn’t be weaponized against immigrants. We’re holding the Trump administration accountable and demanding answers about the DHS-IRS data sharing agreement.”

Linda Sánchez reiterated the call for engagement in the Congressional Art Competition later on April 15, 2025. She reminded followers not to forget to cast their votes by noon on Thursday for their preferred artwork. The post read, “Don’t forget to vote for the ‘fan favorite’ for this year’s Congressional Art Competition.”

Linda Sánchez, currently 54 years old and residing in Whittier, was born in Orange, California, in 1969. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree, she earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995.
