Sánchez has represented California’s 38th District since replacing Steve Horn in Congress in 2003. Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier at age 54, she holds a BA from UC Berkeley (1991) and a JD from UCLA (1995).
Head Start is a federal program launched over six decades ago to promote school readiness among young children from low-income families. The USMCA—United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement—is subject to periodic review regarding labor rights and environmental standards as part of ongoing trade negotiations.
