Representative Linda Sánchez, who serves California’s 38th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to address several key issues, including a vote on impeachment proceedings and immigration policy.
On December 11, 2025, Sánchez posted about her actions in the House of Representatives regarding former President Donald Trump. She wrote, “I just voted to force the House to consider impeaching Trump for his violent threats against Democratic Members of Congress. Republicans blocked it, showing once again they’ll refuse to hold him accountable for his administration’s lawlessness.”
The following day, December 12, Sánchez commented on proposed changes to immigration policy. She stated, “Ending family reunification parole won’t make us safer, it will only tear families apart. Our immigration policies should be fair and humane. This is just cruel.”
On December 14, Sánchez extended holiday greetings for Hanukkah: “To everyone celebrating Hanukkah, I’m wishing you a season filled with light, reflection, and time with loved ones. May the candles remind us of strength, perseverance, and hope. Chag Sameach “
Linda Sánchez has represented California’s 38th congressional district since 2003 after succeeding Steve Horn in that role (FACT 1; FACT 2). Born in Orange, California in 1969 and currently residing in Whittier (FACT 3), she holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley (BA) and UCLA (JD) (FACT 4).
