On Thursday, Feb. 27, former Los Altos High School standout Giselle Mejia’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Mary’s Gaels.
The game took place at Campus Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Gaels this season.
The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Campus Diamond against Creighton Bluejays.
