Rep. Linda Sánchez, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California's 38th district since 2003, recently shared her views on immigration and tax policies through a series of tweets. Born in Orange, California, and currently residing in Whittier, Sánchez graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA and later earned a JD from UCLA.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Sánchez highlighted resources provided by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC), mentioning that they have created "red cards" for individuals to present to agents if approached. These cards are available in multiple languages as noted in her tweet: "Adicionalmente, @theILRC ha creado también unas “tarjetas rojas” para que las lleves contigo y las presentes a un agente si te abordan. Están disponibles en varios idiomas aquí: https://t.co/ZGTeYElEBf".

On January 23, 2025, Rep. Sánchez expressed opposition to President Trump's mass deportations alongside the Hispanic Caucus. She emphasized the need for real immigration solutions that maintain family unity and protect Dreamers while recognizing immigrants' contributions to the economy: "The @HispanicCaucus stood united today in opposition to President Trump's mass deportations... We need real immigration solutions that keep families together, protect Dreamers...".

Later on January 23, she addressed concerns regarding Republican plans to finance tax cuts for billionaires like Trump and Elon Musk: "Think Republicans don't have a plan to pay for Trump’s tax cuts for billionaires like him and Elon Musk? They’ve got one.".
