Representative Linda Sánchez has taken to social media to express her concerns over recent administrative decisions and actions. As a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 38th district since 2003, Sánchez has been vocal against certain policies she believes undermine progress and fair competition.

On April 16, 2025, Sánchez addressed the Trump administration's decision to terminate the International Labor Affairs Bureau, stating "Terminating the International Labor Affairs Bureau threatens decades of progress in combating forced and child labor, human trafficking & exploitation around the world". She also expressed her support for the Solidarity Center, which is opposing this closure.

In a subsequent statement on the same day, Sánchez reiterated her position, emphasizing domestic repercussions, "Shutting down ILAB doesn’t just hurt foreign workers, it puts American jobs at risk too". She highlighted her leadership in rallying 13 Democrats from the Ways and Means Committee to advocate for the bureau’s reinstatement.

On April 17, 2025, Sánchez declared, "We are in a Constitutional crisis", responding to the Trump administration's refusal to comply with a court order concerning Kilmar Abrego Garcia. She urged bipartisan action against what she perceives as an abuse of power.

Linda Sánchez, a California native born in 1969, has further emphasized her commitment to addressing these national and international issues from her current residence in Whittier.
